The short version

No accounts, no sign-up, no contact form. Your filters live in the page URL, not on our servers. We use two analytics tools to understand how the board is used, but only if you say yes, and the board works the same if you say no. Nothing is sold, and we run no advertising.

Who is responsible

Dinosaurjoy Unipessoal, Lda. (NIPC 515327751), registered in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, is the controller for the data described here. Write to support@onlyjuniorjobs.co.uk about anything on this page, including for our full registered address.

Because we are established in Portugal and offer this service to people in the United Kingdom, both the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR apply.

What we collect

  • Analytics data, but only once you accept the cookie banner. What that covers is set out below.
  • Server and CDN logs. Our hosting provider records the usual request data: IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page. An IP address is personal data, so this policy covers it even though we never look at it individually.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep the message and your address in order to reply.

We do not collect your name, CV, or application. We never see where you apply, because the Apply button leaves this site.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and PostHog to see which roles, filters and searches people actually use, so we know what to build and which listings are worth keeping. That is the whole purpose: our own product decisions, nothing more.

Both set cookies, so neither loads until you accept. Until you answer the banner, and for as long as you decline, no analytics script runs and no analytics cookie is written. Declining costs you nothing, because every part of the board works either way.

You can change your mind whenever you like: choose Cookies in the footer. Clearing your browser storage also resets the choice, and we will ask again.

These tools record the kind of thing you would expect:

  • Pages viewed, in what order, and how long you stayed.
  • Which filters, searches and listings were used.
  • Rough location from your IP address at city level, device, browser and screen size.
  • Which site sent you here, if any.

We have turned off the more invasive options: no session recording, no automatic capture of every click, no advertising or remarketing signals in Google Analytics, and IP anonymisation on. PostHog runs on its EU infrastructure and builds no profile of you, because there are no accounts to attach one to.

What we still do not do

  • No advertising cookies, no remarketing, no ad networks.
  • No session recording, heatmaps or fingerprinting.
  • No profiling and no automated decisions about you.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data. Ever.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Analytics runs on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which is why nothing loads until you give it and why you can withdraw it at any time. Logs are processed under our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the site available, secure and free of abuse, and emails under our legitimate interest in answering you. There is no processing of special-category data.

How long we keep it

  • Analytics: Google Analytics retains event data for 14 months; PostHog for 12 months.
  • Server and CDN logs: retained by our hosting provider for a short rolling period, then deleted.
  • Emails: kept while the matter is open and for as long as we may need a record of it, then deleted.

Who else touches it

Our hosting and CDN provider, and (with your consent) Google Analytics and PostHog, process data on our behalf as processors under contract. Some of these providers operate servers outside the EEA and the UK; where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses together with the UK addendum, or on an adequacy decision.

Third-party links, such as an employer’s site, LinkedIn or WhatsApp, are not covered by this policy. Once you follow one, that company’s own terms apply.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, object to our processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to support@onlyjuniorjobs.co.uk. We answer within one month.

In practice we hold almost nothing tied to you, and we cannot identify you from a log entry without more information from you, which we will ask for rather than guess.

If you think we have got this wrong you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD, or, if you are in the UK, to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Job listings

The listings on this board come from public job postings. They describe roles, not people. If you are named in a listing we have republished and you want it removed, email support@onlyjuniorjobs.co.uk and we will take it down.
