We’re looking for ambitious graduates and early career professionals to join a global logistics business as a Graduate Trainee Account Executive based in Rusper, West Sussex.

You don’t need years of sales experience. What’s more important is that you’re a confident communicator, enjoy building relationships and are excited to learn and develop.

You’ll receive structured training and hands on coaching, including an in depth 12 month development programme covering sales strategy, negotiation, customer success and market positioning.

The Role

As a Graduate Trainee Account Executive, you’ll take ownership of the full sales journey. You’ll start conversations with new businesses, understand what they need and build strong, long term relationships with SME customers.

You’ll develop your own pipeline and customer accounts, with the training, tools and support you need to build your confidence and succeed.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Connecting with new business prospects and starting conversations
• Building strong relationships with new and existing SME customers
• Understanding customers’ shipping needs and identifying ways to improve their service
• Managing your own sales pipeline and working towards winning new business
• Supporting customers with pricing, billing, queries and service improvements
• Developing your communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Completing a structured 12 month sales development programme
