Junior Surveyor

MAL Surveys Ltd is looking for a Junior Surveyor to join our growing surveying team.

We undertake a wide range of surveying work across London and the surrounding areas, including topographical surveys, measured building surveys, 3D laser scanning, as-built surveys, GPS surveys, main controls, monitoring, FerroScanning and BIM-related surveying .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their surveying career who is keen to gain practical experience across different types of projects and develop their technical skills.

The role will involve:

• Assisting with site surveys and data collection
• Using total stations, GPS and 3D laser scanners
• Assisting with setting out and main control networks
• Carrying out as-built and dimensional surveys
• Processing and checking survey data
• Producing drawings and survey deliverables
• Working alongside experienced surveyors and learning on live projects

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in surveying and construction
• Is willing to learn and develop their skills
• Has good attention to detail
• Can work independently while also being part of a team
• Has a positive and professional attitude
• Holds a full UK driving licence, or is working towards one

Previous surveying experience or a relevant qualification would be advantageous, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally important .
