Junior Supportability Engineer

SNC Mission Systems UK - Bristol

We are looking for a Junior Supportability Engineer to join us at SNC Mission Systems UK in Bristol. We provide tailored mission systems integration and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions for the UK Government and its allies.

As a Junior Supportability Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting MOD-related projects providing advice and guidance on Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) activities that are happening within UK MOD programmes. No two days will be the same as you will support in BID ratings related to ILS one day, influence and inform decision as key link between SNC MS UK and the MOD the next. You will write up relevant documents as well as keeping spreadsheets updated as part of your day-to-day.

Some of your responsibilities will include...

  • Providing consultation support to bids by assessing requirements and responding to statements of work

  • Developing and maintaining documentation such as plans, Reports, Analysis and Repositories related to ILS and Supportability.

  • Supporting project coordination for ILS related tasks and activities across departments such as Programs, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics and Maintenance teams.

  • Providing logistical technical support to customers, end-users, and field service teams.

As a Junior Supportability Engineer, you'll work on exciting, operationally relevant projects that make a real impact. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders, and see the results of what you deliver.

We're looking for recent graduates in an engineering-related discipline who are keen to learn, develop their skills, and build a career in defence. With training and support from experienced colleagues, you'll grow into a key link between the MOD and SNC Mission Systems UK programmes.

These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation.
