Working closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurant, weddings, conferences and events, while supporting and inspiring the wider kitchen team.

What you will be doing

• Working hands-on in the kitchen, preparing and cooking high-quality dishes across our food operation
• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Leading by example during busy services, ensuring consistency, quality and excellent presentation
• Taking responsibility for kitchen sections and supporting the team to deliver an efficient service
• Bringing fresh ideas, creativity and a genuine passion for food to our menus and daily specials
• Supporting, coaching and developing junior chefs, helping them build their skills and confidence
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety standards
• Supporting stock control, food costs, portion management and reducing food waste
• Helping to deliver weddings, conferences, functions and special events to a high standard
• Stepping up and taking responsibility when required, while continuing to develop your own leadership skills
