Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising food production and ensuring high-quality food preparation in accordance with recipes and standards
• Support the management of kitchen operations during service hours, maintaining efficiency and organization
• Help lead and motivate the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
• Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
• Contribute to menu development ideas and assist with preparing a variety of dishes to meet quality standards
• Oversee the serving process to guarantee timely delivery of dishes to guests or restaurant outlets
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces

Skills

• Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment
• Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a culinary setting
• Excellent kitchen experience with familiarity in various cooking styles and cuisines
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and manage workflow efficiently
• Good communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff and other departments
