Junior Sous Chef

We are looking for a Junior Sous to join our team in our fresh food kitchen in Woodford! Our menu changes seasonally but always has freshly produced pub classics at the heart of it.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the chefs in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations
• Ensure food preparation and cooking is done according to recipes and quality standards
• Help supervise other members of kitchen staff
• Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specials
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, in a fresh food restaurant or pub setting
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, fresh food environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
