Junior Sous Chef / Chef de Partie – The White Heron, Brundall

We’re looking for two skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at The White Heron in Brundall. One position is to cover maternity leave.

We’re a busy, food-led pub focused on delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes in a fast-paced but supportive environment. This is a great opportunity for a strong CDP ready to step up, or an experienced Junior Sous looking for a stable, well-run kitchen.

What you’ll be doing:

• Running your section during service with consistency and attention to detail
• Supporting the Head Chef with prep, service, and daily kitchen operations
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and organisation
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
• Helping train and support junior team members

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a fresh food environment
• Ability to work calmly under pressure during busy services
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve
• A genuine passion for good food and hospitality
