Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Junior Sous Chef / Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Support the senior kitchen team in supervising food production and maintaining efficient kitchen operations
• Manage food safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness, proper storage, and hygiene practices are followed at all times
• Lead by example in food presentation, portion control, and quality assurance
• Oversee daily kitchen tasks, including food prep, cooking, plating, and serving during busy service periods
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of orders
• Contribute to training junior staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality kitchen environment with hands-on cooking skills
• Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within a culinary setting
• Strong knowledge of food production processes, safety standards, and hygiene regulations
• Passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality food preparation and presentation
• Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service expectations
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
