Junior Software Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer with a good foundation in C# and .NET development. The candidate will work alongside experienced developers to build, maintain, test, and enhance software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using C# and .NET.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining APIs and backend services.
• Participate in debugging, testing, and resolving software defects.
• Work with databases and perform basic SQL queries.
• Collaborate with senior developers, testers, and other team members.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Assist with application deployments and maintenance activities.
• Follow Agile development practices and contribute to sprint activities.
• Document development activities and technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in software development.
• Good foundation in C# programming.
• Basic understanding of .NET / .NET Core.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and basic SQL queries.
• Understanding of software development and testing principles.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Basic exposure to Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative development environment.

Desirable

• Exposure to enterprise application development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Any internship or project experience involving C#/.NET development.

Security Clearance Requirement

Security clearance is a project-specific requirement and may be required depending on the nature of the client engagement. Candidates may be required to obtain or hold valid UK Security Clearance (SC) for specific projects, subject to client and project requirements.
