Ayan Capital is the UK's only FCA-authorised dedicated halal car finance lender. We help people drive the car they need without paying interest, through finance that follows Islamic principles.

We also have launched Ayan Pay, an interest-free split-payment product for merchants. It lets customers spread the cost of purchases fairly and transparently.

The role

We are looking for a creative, hands-on Junior Social Media & Content Executive to help grow Ayan's presence organically. You will plan, film, edit and publish content that explains halal finance simply and builds trust with our community. You will also help launch Ayan Pay to new audiences.

This is an entry-level role with real responsibility. Your work will reach our audience from day one, and you will learn how content drives growth at a regulated finance company.

What you'll do

• Plan, create and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.

• Film and edit short-form video, such as Reels, TikToks and Shorts, including presenting on camera where needed.

• Write clear, engaging copy for captions, posts, emails and campaign assets.

• Build and manage a monthly content calendar, working to deadlines and campaign priorities.

• Create content and campaigns that support the growth of Ayan Pay with merchants and customers.

• Work with UGC creators, influencers and partners, including dealerships, to produce and coordinate content.

• Track performance (reach, engagement, followers and conversions) and use what you learn to improve future content.

• Keep up with trends, formats and platform changes, and bring new ideas to the team.

• Support community management by responding to comments and messages in Ayan's tone of voice.

What we're looking for

Essential

• Experience creating social media content, through work, freelance, university, a society or your own channels.

• Confidence filming and editing short-form video, using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.

• Strong written English and the ability to explain things simply.

• Good organisation and time management, including handling several pieces of content at once.

• Confidence on camera, or a willingness to build it.

• A portfolio or examples of content you've made.

Desirable

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.

• Experience with email marketing platforms

• An interest in fintech, ethical finance or Islamic finance, and in making finance more accessible.
