Junior Property Manager

We are working with an established residential property business in Hampstead that is looking to appoint a Junior Property Manager to join its team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the property industry. We are looking for someone highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy administrative environment.

The position will primarily focus on property administration and pre-tenancy management , supporting the process from an offer being agreed through to the tenant moving into the property.

The role

You will be responsible for supporting the smooth set-up of new tenancies, including:

• Processing new offers and liaising with agents, tenants and internal teams.
• Collecting tenant information and necessary documentation, including Right to Rent information.
• Setting up and maintaining accurate tenancy records.
• Monitoring holding deposits, rent and deposit payments.
• Coordinating tenant referencing and following applications through to completion.
• Preparing and issuing tenancy documentation and agreements.
• Coordinating cleaning, furniture requirements and check-in appointments ahead of new tenancies.
• Ensuring relevant compliance and tenancy documentation is in place.
• Preparing welcome information and supporting tenants through the move-in process.
• Assisting with utilities, council tax notifications and general tenancy administration.

• Confident managing multiple administrative tasks and deadlines.
• A good communicator who is comfortable dealing with tenants, agents and colleagues.
• Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks.
• Keen to build a career within residential property.
• Comfortable learning and working across different systems.

Experience with property management or lettings systems would also be an advantage. The team currently works across ALTO, Trello, Goodlord and Payprop , although experience with these platforms is not required.
