Junior Property Consultant – Field Based (Part-Time)
Job Overview
We are an established and growing residential lettings and property management agency based in Lewisham, South East London.
We are looking for a reliable, proactive and well-organised Junior Property Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on, field-based role involving regular property viewings, move-in and move-out inspections, periodic property visits and general operational support across our managed portfolio. The successful candidate must be comfortable being out and about between properties daily and working both independently and alongside our lettings team.

Main Responsibilities
- Conduct accompanied and unaccompanied viewings for prospective tenants.
- Carry out move-in and move-out property inspections and prepare clear written reports.
- Take photographs of properties at inspection and check-in/check-out stage.
- Carry out periodic mid-tenancy inspections and report findings to the relevant team member.
- Report maintenance issues, damage and concerns identified during property visits.
- Deliver keys, documents and supplies to properties when required.
- Liaise with and provide access to cleaning contractors and maintenance operatives.
- Check that completed maintenance works have been carried out to a satisfactory standard.
- Assist with tenant sign-ups and help ensure properties are ready for new tenants moving in.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, keys and outstanding property issues.
- Work closely with our Property Management, Accounts and Lettings teams.
- Assist with general lettings administration when not attending properties.

- Comfortable regularly visiting tenants and residential properties.
- Professional and personable when dealing with tenants, landlords and contractors.
- Practical and able to identify basic property condition and maintenance issues.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and properties at the same time.
- Able to take clear, accurate photographs and write concise reports.
- Confident using email and basic computer systems.
- Professional and calm when dealing with difficult or sensitive situations.
- Willing to support other team members when required.
Previous experience in property management, lettings, estate agency, housing, facilities management or property inspections would be an advantage. However, the right attitude, reliability and organisational skills are equally important and we will train the right person.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Must have own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at HMRC rate)
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong organisational skills
- Comfortable travelling regularly between properties across South East London
- Reliable and willing to take ownership of tasks through to completion
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
