Junior Production Engineer

Job Purpose:

This is mainly a computer based position.

To verify content and revisions of information supplied on order intake. To assist in the breakdown and methods of assembly employed in the production areas. To liaise with customers and suppliers as required.

Duties and Key Result Areas

· Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager

· To check revisions of information supplied or held at MPE against new orders.

· To check the revisions of bare PCB’s against new orders. Including MPE stock.

· To update information held in the computer system, i.e. part numbers, descriptions memo pads, suppliers etc.

· To prepare production folders including BOMs, Parts lists and any other relevant information.

· To monitor and assist in production methods employed by MPE.

· To maintain the company production folder library keeping information as up to date as required.

· To liaise with customers and suppliers when required.

· To comply with company ISO Procedures.

· To observe company anti-static requirements.

· To keep personal work and communal areas tidy.

· To observe Health and Safety requirements.

· Any other tasks as reasonably directed.

Pay: £26,665.00 per year
