**Junior / Improver Painter & Decorator – Self-Employed – London**

**Rate:** Up to £125 per day (CIS), depending on experience

**Site hours:** 8:00am – 5:00pm

**Location:** sites across London

**Start:** ASAP

**About the role**

We're looking for a reliable self-employed painter with some hands-on painting experience to join our team on [residential / commercial] projects across London. You'll work alongside experienced decorators, with ongoing work for the right person.

**The work**

• Preparing surfaces: filling, sanding, masking and protecting floors and fixtures

• Applying primers, undercoats and topcoats by brush and roller

• Painting walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors and skirting to a clean finish

• Keeping the site tidy and cleaning tools at the end of each day

• Following site health and safety rules

**Essential**

• **A valid CSCS card**

• **Previous painting experience.** Please say what you've done when you apply.

• **A UTR number** (registered self-employed for CIS)

• Own basic hand tools

• Reliable, punctual and able to travel to London sites

**Nice to have**

• Public liability insurance

• Own transport
