Job Overview
Reports into our UK Sales Controller
Due to the significant growth, we have recently seen we have created this new role in our commercial structure.
Starting off as a National Account Executive, you'll be developing a sound foundation in all commercial aspects of the business - getting to know the products, customers and supporting processes. Interpreting data will be key and presenting this to relevant internal stakeholders will be a key part of the role. As your knowledge of the products and business grows, you'll soon be tasked with taking on your first accounts, building quickly towards a full Account Management role.
For this role, you need to be high energy for the pace of the industry, a self-starter with commercial skills and the drive to deliver. You will be working on major retailer accounts, so will need good numeric competency, be confident with your communication skills, and the ability to understand the customers’ requirements.

Our working environment is a mix from being onsite, in the buzz of the commercial team, learning about our business, and being able to react to the demands of the role; customer and store visits, and some time working remotely to ensure the reporting and admin behind the scenes is all up to date. Bright and motivated, you should be able to prioritise and flexible to be able to react to the demands of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate and analyse data – including analysis of performance in the customer using market data and shopper trends.
- Manage the day-to-day administration.
- Build relationships with customer buying functions and external admin support demonstrating your customer management skills.
- Build relationships internally across all functions including commercial finance, supply chain/demand planning and NPD.
- Maintaining the key account reports
- Assist in report production and presentations and maybe even make a few.
- Support the creation of an annual account/channel business plan working with the commercial management team.
- This role will give your career the chance to operate cross functionally to gain a breadth of exposure to all functions.
Experience:
- You'll ideally have some experience working in the food industry.
- Be confident manipulating and analysing data.
- Intermediate Excel skills will set you up for success from day one.
- A degree in a related field would be helpful but not essential and beyond that, it's going to be about your energy, enthusiasm, attention to detail and ability to build relationships across different teams.
