We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior / Middleweight Interior Designer to join our Environments Department. This role will be an initial 6 month contract with a view to being made permanent. Within this role you will grow as a Designer with hands on experience, across a wide range of global clients, building a strong foundation to grow your design career.

  • Support our multidisciplinary design teams in shaping creative concepts from initial briefing through to concept work and final design.
  • Bring this to life through research, moodboards, materials, sketches, visualisation and presentations.
  • Produce design intent drawing packs and schedules, under supervision.
  • Attend key project and client meetings and site visits as needed, taking notes and following up on key actions.
  • Contribute to client presentations, with support, and take part in presentations to clients as required.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and organise / attend lunch & learn sessions to keep up to with new developments with materials for projects.
  • Good 3D visualisation skills.
  • Foundational 2D architectural drawing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of materials, with a particular passion for sustainability in design.
  • Up to date and ever expanding knowledge of brands and experience in retail, service and culture.
  • Proactivity, strong creative thinking and an ability to both collaborate and work independently.
  • A naturally curious spirit with a passion for design and the world around you.
  • A passion for learning and upskilling.
  • Excellent timekeeping and organisation.
  • Great communication skills when sharing ideas internally or in meetings.
