The opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Junior to Mid-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing engineering and technology team.

You’ll work closely with design engineers, technicians and suppliers to help develop practical manufacturing processes, improve production methods and support the transition of products from prototype into repeatable manufacture.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with technical teams and turning designs into reliable, buildable products.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the development and improvement of manufacturing processes
• Working with engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacture
• Helping move products from prototype builds into repeatable production
• Identifying manufacturing issues and supporting root-cause investigations
• Developing work instructions, process documentation and production standards
• Supporting supplier engagement, component sourcing and manufacturing activities
• Assisting with assembly, testing and quality improvements
• Monitoring production issues and helping implement corrective actions
• Supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing operations
• Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to improve cost, quality and delivery

What we’re looking for

• Commercial experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering or a related engineering environment
• A relevant engineering degree, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience
• An understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly methods and engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good organisational and communication abilities
• A practical, hands-on approach to engineering
• The ability to work collaboratively with design, engineering and production teams
• A willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks
• Experience working with electromechanical or hardware products
