We’re looking for a motivated and curious Junior IT Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in technology—whether you’re fresh out of education or simply passionate about IT and eager to learn. You’ll support day‑to‑day technical operations, help resolve user issues, and develop hands‑on skills across hardware, software, networking, and cloud systems.

If you enjoy problem‑solving, tinkering with tech, and understanding how things work, this role will give you a strong foundation in IT support.

  • The chance to join a forward-thinking Company who have prided themselves on service and reputation since their inception in 1997
  • An opportunity to be part of a vibrant culture
  • Competitive salary
  • 20 days holiday which increases with length of service, up to 25 days
  • Life assurance from day one
  • A day off for your Birthday following a successful probation period
  • Free 24-hour employee assistance program
  • Free health & wellbeing subscription
  • Casual dress code
  • 40 hours between 0800 - 1800
  • Monday - Friday
  • Town Centre office

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first‑line support for staff via email, phone, and in person.
  • Log, manage, and update support requests through the IT ticketing system.
  • Prioritise tickets based on urgency and impact, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues (laptops, printers, mobile devices).
  • Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Help maintain IT equipment, including device provisioning, updating software, and organising inventory.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes (device setup, user accounts, documentation).
  • Follow IT procedures, including security best practices and data handling.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members when required.
  • Contribute to documentation, checklists, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Assist with updating asset registers and tracking device lifecycle.
  • Perform routine checks on backups, antivirus, patch status, and system alerts.
  • Any other duties as and when required

Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in IT, technology, and problem‑solving.
  • Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, and common applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work methodically.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive approach to teamwork.

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, or basic networking concepts.
  • Experience building or repairing computers (even as a hobby).
