Junior Investment Analyst
We are hiring a Junior Investment Analyst to support the continued growth of Aspire Financial’s private-client investment portfolios. As the volume of portfolio reviews, market research and performance reporting increases, we need someone with strong numerical ability, close attention to detail and a genuine interest in building a career within investment management.
Aspire Financial provides asset management and investment advisory services to private clients. Our work begins with understanding what each client wants their money to achieve before considering asset allocation, risk or individual investments.
You will work closely with Senior Investment Managers, contributing to the research, analysis and reporting behind discretionary and advisory portfolios. This is an entry-level position with structured coaching, technical training and increasing responsibility as your knowledge develops.
Your responsibilities will include:
Researching funds, equities, fixed-income investments and wider market developments
Analysing portfolio performance, asset allocation, risk and investment costs
Preparing research notes and supporting papers for Senior Investment Managers
Monitoring economic, political and market events that may affect client portfolios
Producing accurate data and commentary for portfolio reviews
Supporting the preparation of client reports and investment presentations
Maintaining investment records and checking data across internal systems
Assisting with analysis used in portfolio rebalancing and investment decisions
Attending internal investment meetings and recording agreed actions
Working with investment, client services and compliance colleagues
All investment analysis and client recommendations will be reviewed by appropriately experienced senior colleagues.
