Junior Investment Analyst – AI Venture Capital (Russian-speaking) London | Permanent, full-time

VentureFlows is a London-based venture capital adviser focused on identifying, assessing and supporting early-stage UK artificial intelligence businesses.

We’re looking for a Junior Investment Analyst to support investment research, financial analysis and investor operations as we expand our relationships with founders, investors, family offices and professional intermediaries across the UK and Europe.

This role would suit someone with strong research and analytical skills, an interest in AI and venture capital, and professional proficiency in English and Russian. Russian is essential for regular communication with Russian-speaking investors, founders and intermediaries in our target markets.

What you’ll do

• Research AI businesses, technology markets and emerging investment opportunities.
• Assess business models, market positioning, commercial traction and competitors.
• Support investment screening and due diligence, preparing clear, well-sourced analysis.
• Assist with financial analysis, valuations and projections using established models and templates.
• Prepare draft investment briefs, investor presentations and market updates.
• Collect portfolio performance data and support investment reporting.
• Communicate with investors, founders and intermediaries in English and Russian.
• Coordinate investor onboarding and carry out assigned know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money-laundering (AML) checks under established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with fund administrators, advisers and other service providers.

You’ll work under the supervision of senior investment and operations colleagues, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your skills develop.

What we’re looking for

• A degree in business, finance, economics, management or a related subject, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret business and financial information.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Russian.
• Some relevant experience in financial services, investment or market research, client onboarding, compliance support or a related field.
• Clear communication, sound judgement and strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• An understanding of confidentiality, accurate record-keeping and the importance of following compliance procedures.

Useful additional experience

• Knowledge of venture capital, early-stage businesses, AI or technology.
• Experience in financial modelling, company analysis, investment screening or portfolio reporting.
• Familiarity with European private investment or family-office markets.
• French-language proficiency an additional advantage.
