Junior Hockey Coach

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, structured and engaging Sunday morning hockey sessions.

• Coach and develop junior players across a range of ages and abilities.

• Teach fundamental hockey skills, including passing, receiving, shooting, tackling, movement and game awareness.

• Create a positive, inclusive and encouraging environment where every player feels valued and supported.

• Organise sessions efficiently, including warm-ups, skills development, games and cool-downs.

• Adapt coaching to suit different abilities and learning needs.

• Manage groups of players confidently and maintain high standards of behaviour and sportsmanship.

• Encourage teamwork

• We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and inspiring Junior Hockey Coach to lead our Sunday morning junior hockey programme.

• An exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing young players, creating a positive hockey environment and helping children build confidence, skills and love for the game.

• The successful coach will take responsibility for leading, coaching and managing Sunday morning hockey, ensuring sessions are well organised, engaging and appropriate for the age and ability of the players.

• Sundays 10:30-12:00, U8s/U10s/U12s/U14s

Pay: £15.94-£33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.5 per week
