We are looking for:

A Junior Hair Stylist with a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing, who is confident in carrying out blow-dries, basic haircuts and highlighting services.

We are looking for someone who is eager to develop their skills, build their own clientele and work alongside our experienced stylists.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated junior stylist who wants to gain hands-on experience, receive industry-leading education and progress within a growing salon company.

The role will involve a combination of performing your own hairdressing services, assisting senior stylists and supporting the day-to-day running of the salon.

What you will be doing:

· Performing blow-dries, basic haircuts and highlighting services confidently and professionally.

· Building and developing your own clientele while delivering an exceptional client experience.

· Assisting senior and higher-level stylists with their appointments, including colour preparation, shampooing, treatments and styling.

· Supporting the smooth running of the salon by preparing and resetting stations between appointments as a salon assistant.

· Maintaining excellent salon cleanliness and hygiene standards, including sweeping, cleaning equipment, organising workstations and assisting with general salon upkeep.

· Taking initiative to support your colleagues and ensure the salon runs efficiently.

· Demonstrating excellent customer service and making every client feel welcome and valued.

· Attending training sessions and actively developing your technical knowledge and skills.

· Showing desire, dedication and passion for learning and progressing within the company.

· Working towards agreed personal and professional development goals.

What we need from you:

· NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification (essential).

· Confidence in performing professional blow-dries.

· Ability to carry out basic haircuts.

· Practical knowledge and experience in highlighting techniques.

· Good understanding of salon hygiene, health and safety standards.

· A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to assist the team with all aspects of salon operations.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Passion for hairdressing, creativity and continuous learning.

· Ambition to develop into a fully independent stylist.
