Job Overview

As a Junior Hair Stylist, you’ll support the salon team in delivering welcoming, attentive service while developing your styling practice. You’ll help clients feel comfortable, understand their preferences and leave with clear guidance on maintaining their chosen look.

Duties

• Welcome clients, support front desk tasks and communicate appointment or service details clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Assist with hair styling and barbering services, prepare work areas and maintain an organised, client-ready space.
• Recommend suitable products or services through helpful, needs-led upselling, and support makeup application or eyelash extensions where these are offered.
• Share practical knowledge with newer colleagues when appropriate and assist with day-to-day store management tasks.

Qualifications

Required: Clear communication, customer service and a considerate approach are essential for welcoming clients, understanding requests and supporting salon duties. Preferred: Experience with hair styling, barbering, front desk work, store management, mentoring, eyelash extensions, makeup application or needs-led upselling can strengthen your contribution.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
