This role is the primary Junior Finance Business Partner to the Global Planning, Customer Service and Logistics (PCSL) Leadership Team and the Global Category Leader - Logistics Procurement, reporting to the Twinings Supply Chain FD. Role’s purpose is to provide decision support and financial expertise across PCSL & Logistics Procurement, financial insights to drive best cost, whilst ensuring that risk and volatility is handled and well-understood.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide thorough financial and strategic support, developing the 5 year financial plans for the function.
- Develop insightful analysis to guide data led decisions and drive financial performance.
- Look outside for new ideas and best practice examples.
- Proactively identify and communicate opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings within Logistics, Inventory, Planning – for budget, forecast, indicatives, 5YP e.g. ocean freight routes (Inbound and Outbound), SKU Rationalisation, Inventory Optimisation, NPD phase in/phase out risk mitigation.
- Work with Senior Finance Business Partner - Procurement and Technical to drive the Cost Innovation agenda for Twinings Supply Chain.
- Communicate insights to stakeholders to obtain sponsorship.
- Lead the alignment of annual financial and KPI targets for PCSL that drive value optimisation and best cost, including the ongoing short- and long-term performance of the business.
- Ownership of the actual and forecast financial performance for PCSL – Inventory, volumes, freight and warehousing.
- Build and lead the monthly review of financial performance ensuring availability of clear and consistent information to drive decision making, including KPI performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- University Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent: ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience in a fast paced FMCG businesses preferred
- Strong communication and influencing skills, verbal and written
- Previous Supply Chain experience would be an asset
- Working knowledge of SAP, knowledge of Power BI or other visualisation tools would be an advantage
- Well organised and able to get things done, working with a large degree of autonomy and comfortable with a level of ambiguity

- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to challenge and maintain positive working relationships
