Junior Event IT Technician
attend2IT provides event IT solutions for both large and small events. From WiFi, CCTV, Phones to ticket scanning and Bespoke Software we are responsible for critical infrastructure at event sites across Europe including Brighton Pride, Polo in the Park and Moreton in Marsh Show among many others.
Due to continued growth, attend2IT is looking for an Event IT Technician to work out in our warehouse in Buntingford and as a Field Engineer across the UK, Europe and beyond.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from large outdoor festivals and Sports events to corporate and connectivity-focused events.
Junior Event IT Technician Role & responsibilities:
- Preparing, loading, and unloading equipment in the warehouse
- Pre-configuring equipment for events and deployments
- Checking in and testing new equipment
- Deliveries to and collections from client sites and event locations
- General warehouse tidying and equipment maintenance
- Installing and removing IT infrastructure at client and event sites
- Assisting on larger-scale events in the UK and Europe
Working Hours:
Office hours are typically 9:00am – 5:00pm, however on-site working hours must be flexible to meet client requirements. During events, teams typically work:
- 10-hour days during build periods
- Up to 12-hour days during live show days
The events industry can be demanding, and you should expect to work away from home for periods of up to three weeks at a time.
Requirements:
- Full driving license
- Valid Passport to enable travel to Europe and USA
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
- Able to work calmly under pressure
- Good customer service and communication skills
- ICT Skills
- A basic knowledge of computer networking
Desirable Experience (Not Essential)
Full training will be provided, but experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
- EasyJob
- Ruckus, Cambium, or other enterprise Wi-Fi platforms
- VMware ESXi, VoIP systems, Linux
- Hikvision CCTV and HikCentral
- vMix or NDI

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £22,600.00-£26,500.00 per year
