Junior Data Analyst

Job Overview

Join the team as a Junior Data Analyst, turning data into clear insights that support informed business decisions. You’ll work with colleagues to understand their needs, prepare reliable datasets and present findings in accessible formats.

Duties

• Analyse data using SQL and tools such as Tableau or Power BI to identify patterns and communicate findings.
• Query and support databases including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server; contribute to database design and data quality.
• Use Python, R, VBA or Bash (Unix shell) where appropriate to prepare, validate and analyse data.
• Support business analysis, project management and activities across the software development life cycle (SDLC), documenting processes and requirements with tools such as Visio.
• Your impact: Clear, well-validated analysis helps colleagues make better-informed decisions and focus resources on relevant business needs.

Experience

• Strong data analysis and general analysis skills, with care for accuracy and detail.
• Familiarity with SQL ,and at least some of the listed databases, programming languages or visualisation tools; experience across the full toolset is not expected.
• An understanding of business analysis, database design, project management or the SDLC is useful.

Pay: £30,420.00-£47,120.00 per year
