Junior Credit Controller

Location: Units 1–2 Cookham Road, Binfield, Bracknell, RG12 1RB
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm - 35hours
Working Arrangement: Fully office-based

About the Role

VR Bathrooms is looking for an organised, proactive and confident Junior Credit Controller to join our Accounts team.

The main focus of the role will be supporting the credit control function, managing customer accounts and following up outstanding payments. You will have regular contact with customers by phone and email, so being confident and comfortable speaking to customers over the phone is essential.

You will also provide occasional ad-hoc support across Accounts Payable, including invoicing, payments, credit notes and general finance administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances.
• Contact customers by phone and email regarding overdue payments.
• Deal with customer account and payment queries professionally.
• Allocate and process customer payments.
• Raise invoices and credit notes.
• Assist with customer account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Assist with credit checks and credit insurance processes and setting up accounts.
• Prepare weekly credit control reports.
• Support the wider Accounts Payable team with ad-hoc tasks when required.
• Maintain accurate customer account records.
• Assist with general finance administration.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
