JUNIOR CAD & 3D VISUALISATION DESIGNER

Overview

We're looking for a Junior CAD & 3D Visualisation Designer to join our growing team in Hereford.

This is a varied role for someone with a good foundation in CAD who wants to develop their creative skills and gain experience across 3D visualisation, product design and 3D printing.

We're looking for someone who is creative, technically minded, hands-on and keen to learn.

You'll work alongside our CAD designer and wider team across both digital design and physical products.

CAD & Product Design

• Create and modify CAD models and technical drawings.
• Support product development and design improvements.
• Prepare CAD files for visualisation and 3D printing.
• Work with products from initial design through to physical production.

3D Visualisation & Creative Design

• Create 3D renders and product visualisations.
• Produce product imagery, graphics and presentation materials.
• Turn technical information into clear, engaging visuals.
• Assist with product photography and image editing.
• Create visuals for brochures, sales materials and other company content.

3D Printing & Product Work

• Prepare and set up 3D prints.
• Finish and post-process printed components.
• Check finished products and maintain quality standards.
• Help maintain 3D printers and equipment.
• Keep equipment and work areas organised.
• Assist with preparing completed products for shipment.

It's a genuinely varied role; you'll spend time creating on screen as well as working hands-on with the products you've helped design.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

• Around 1–2 years' experience using CAD.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD or similar.
• Some experience with 3D rendering, visualisation or digital design.
• Experience with Photoshop, Canva or similar.
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• A good visual eye and attention to detail.
• A practical, proactive approach and willingness to learn.

Experience with 3D printing, photography, graphic design or video would be useful, but isn't essential.
