The Business Management Analyst will provide day-to-day support to the Office of the CIO Business Management team, assisting with reporting and wider operational activities. This role is suited to someone organized, proactive, and enthusiastic about building experience across IT business management within a banking environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the completion and maintenance of mandatory project templates, ensuring required information is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of regular Business Management reporting, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and delivered within agreed timelines.
• Support resource management activities, including headcount updates and maintaining resource-related records.
• Support the team with ad hoc tasks, process updates, governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Office of the CIO Business Management function.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Technology, Finance, Procurement, HR, and other stakeholder groups to support effective operational delivery.
• Help ensure deadlines, actions, and follow-ups are tracked and progressed in a timely and organised manner.

What you’ll need to be successful

We’re looking for the following skills and experience. If you don’t have all of these but think you could be a good fit for the role, get in touch.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and remain focused when working to pressing deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate information and records.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and building positive working relationships across different teams.
• Previous experience in Business Management, Technology, Finance, Procurement, or a banking environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Desirable Knowledge:

• Awareness of banking or financial services environments.
• Interest in developing broader knowledge of IT Business Management, governance, reporting, and operational controls.
• Knowledge or practical experience of using AI tools and Microsoft Power Apps to automate processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency would be advantageous.
