Junior Brand Manager – Luxury Fragrance (Sales & Marketing) | Atelier Niche, London (Hybrid) | £30,000
MUST HAVE: experience in a luxury retail Buying team – as Buying Assistant, Assistant Buyer, Buying Admin, Merchandiser or Retail Floor Manager.
Atelier Niche is a fast-growing UK distributor of niche and luxury fragrance and beauty brands. We run brand concessions in Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty, Harvey Nichols and John Bell & Croyden, and we are launching new counters and pop-ups this season.
We are looking for a sharp, commercially minded Junior Brand Manager to work directly with our Founder & Director on Caron , Vilhelm Parfumerie , Darling and Swiss Line . This is a hybrid Sales and Marketing role : on the sales side, account management with the UK's leading department stores, sales analysis, stock and orders; on the marketing side, in-store activations, events, campaigns and brand presentations. If you come from a luxury Buying team and want to move to the brand side with real ownership, this is your next step.
What you will do
SALES – Account management (Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty and beyond)
- Be the day-to-day contact for buyers and store teams: New Line Forms, product listings, retailer forms, staff passes and promotional calendars.
- Reply to retailer requests quickly and accurately – speed matters in this business.
- Support new door openings, counter launches and pop-ups from planning through to installation.
- Manage independent perfumeries and pharmacies and help open new accounts.
SALES – Analysis, stock and orders
- Own the weekly sell-out and sell-in reports by brand and by door; spot trends and flag what needs action.
- Track stock levels, demand and best-sellers to prepare purchase orders and avoid out-of-stocks.
- Follow up invoices and payments with retailers.
MARKETING – Activations and brand building
- Plan and coordinate in-store activations, events, gifting, Advent Calendar and Christmas campaigns with retailers and brand HQs.
- Coordinate POS, testers, samples and blotters, and work with fixture and pop-up suppliers.
- Support social media and partnerships with content plans and campaign follow-up.
- Build strategy and business-review decks for brand owners and retailers (PowerPoint, Canva).
Retail team support
- Visit our counters every week, check performance and visual standards, and share a short store report with actions.
- Organise trainings and help with staff rotas and recruitment for our in-store teams.
- Prepare meeting notes and drive the follow-up on every action.
Who you are
- Must have: experience in a Buying team at a luxury retailer or department store – Buying Assistant, Assistant Buyer, Buying Admin Assistant or Junior Buyer. Fragrance and beauty preferred.
- Additional experience as a Merchandiser, Brand Coordinator, Account Executive or Team Leader in retail is a plus.
- You understand how UK department stores work: concessions, sell-in vs sell-out, margins, NLFs, POs and retailer calendars.
- Excellent with numbers and Excel – you can read a sales report and tell us what it means.
- Confident with PowerPoint and Canva; you make clear, polished presentations.
- Must have: strong, daily use of AI tools such as Claude – for analysis, reporting, presentations and writing. This is how we work every day.
- Very organised, precise and fast. You follow up without being chased.
- Excellent written and spoken English. French or another language is a plus.
- Happy to be on the shop floor as much as in the office, and available during peak retail season (October to January).
Why join us
- Salary: £30,000 per year.
- Hybrid working in London, with weekly store visits.
- Work directly with the Founder and learn the full brand and distribution business – both sales and marketing.
- Real responsibility for prestigious fragrance houses in Harrods, Selfridges and Liberty.
- A fast-growing, entrepreneurial company with clear room to grow into a Brand Manager role.
- 28 days' holiday including bank holidays + 1 day for birthday
How to apply
