Junior Baker

Are you passionate about baking and ready to grow your skills in a professional artisan bakery? We're looking for a Junior Baker to join our talented team and help create the breads and baked goods that our customers love every day.

Working closely with our Senior Bakers and Head Baker, you'll play an important role in the daily rhythm of the bakery, learning traditional techniques, developing your craft, and contributing to a team that takes pride in producing exceptional products from scratch.

Whether you're shaping dough, preparing ingredients, or pulling freshly baked loaves from the oven, every day brings new opportunities to learn, develop, and make a real impact.

What You'll Do

• Help Produce Exceptional Baked Goods: Support the preparation, mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking of our breads and bakery products, ensuring everything meets our high standards of quality and consistency.
• Learn From Experienced Bakers: Work alongside our Senior Bakers and Head Baker, gaining hands-on experience and developing your artisan baking skills in a supportive environment.
• Support Daily Bakery Operations: Assist with production schedules, ingredient preparation, stock rotation, and general bakery organisation to keep everything running smoothly.
• Work as Part of a Great Team: Collaborate with the bakery, kitchen, and front-of-house teams to ensure products are delivered fresh, on time, and to the highest standard.
• Maintain Excellent Standards: Take pride in keeping the bakery clean, organised, and efficient by following daily and weekly cleaning schedules and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Champion Food Safety: Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, fire safety, and company procedures to ensure a safe and professional workplace.
• Get Stuck In: Support the team wherever needed, embracing the varied nature of bakery life and helping ensure every day runs successfully.
