Este Medical Group Cosmetic Surgery
Female Ovia Body Scanner Operator (Entry-Level), 2 Positions
About us
Este Medical Group is a friendly private clinic in Birmingham offering aesthetic and medical treatments. We’re a supportive team, and we take pride in making every client feel comfortable, respected and well looked after. We’re growing our Ovia body scanning service and would love two caring women to join us.
What the job is
The Ovia body scanner takes a quick, non-invasive scan of the body. Your job is to make each client’s visit easy and comfortable. Clients wear light, close-fitting clothing so the scanner can take accurate measurements, so you’ll need to be someone who helps people relax and feel at ease, and who always respects their privacy.
No previous Ovia experience is needed. We’ll train you fully on the scanner and show you how we do things at the clinic.
A typical day
- Welcoming clients and explaining what will happen during their scan
- Checking clients are happy to go ahead and recording their consent
- Showing clients to a private changing area and making sure they feel comfortable
- Running the scan on the Ovia scanner (full training given)
- Saving scan results on our system and passing them to the right person
- Cleaning the scanner and room between clients
- Doing quick daily checks on the equipment and reporting any problems
- Helping with bookings, reception and the general running of the clinic
What’s important to us
- Privacy and dignity: every client is treated with kindness and respect, and their privacy is always protected
- Confidentiality: client information stays private and is only shared with the right people
- Safety and cleanliness: the scanning room is kept clean, safe and welcoming
- Speaking up: if something doesn’t feel right, you tell a manager. We’ll show you how in your training.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll be a good fit if you:
- have a background in care, healthcare or a medical setting (for example care worker, healthcare assistant, clinical support or similar) or have used a body scanner or body composition device before
- understand how to care for people with kindness and respect
- are warm, calm and good at putting people at ease
- are reliable and organised and like to get things right
- are comfortable using a computer for bookings and records
- have the right to work in the UK
It would be a bonus, but isn’t essential, if you have:
- experience in a private clinic, aesthetics, beauty or wellness setting
- the Care Certificate or a similar care qualification
- training in safeguarding, infection control or first aid
Training and support
You won’t be thrown in at the deep end. You’ll get:
- full hands-on training on the Ovia scanner
- an induction covering client care, privacy, consent, cleaning and our clinic policies
- ongoing support from the clinic team whenever you need it
What we offer
- £12.71 per hour
