We’re working with a London-based recruitment business looking to hire multiple entry-level Recruitment Consultants as they continue to grow.

You do not need recruitment experience and you don't necessarily need to be a graduate.

What you do need is sales experience, a strong work ethic and the mentality to keep pushing for results.

This is a proper sales environment. They want people who are ambitious, competitive, resilient and prepared to put the work in to become successful.

The opportunity

You'll receive hands-on training and coaching directly from one of the owners of the business, teaching you how to build your market, win business, manage recruitment processes and ultimately become a high-performing recruiter.

The earning potential is significant.

You'll start on a £27,000 basic salary , but once you've completed your first two deals, your basic rises to £35,000.

Average recruitment fees are typically £30,000–£100,000 per deal , giving you the opportunity to earn substantial commission on top of your salary.

To put the potential into perspective, one consultant currently in their second year is billing around £1m and earning 42% commission on their billings.

That's obviously an exceptional level of performance – but it shows what can be achieved.

Who are we looking for?

We're particularly interested in people coming from sales backgrounds who want to transfer those skills into recruitment.

You might currently be working in B2B sales, telesales, business development, estate agency, door-to-door sales, SaaS, recruitment or another target-driven sales environment.

Graduates are absolutely welcome too, but you'll still need to demonstrate genuine sales experience rather than simply wanting to "give recruitment a go."

The biggest thing is mentality.

You need to be someone who wants to work hard, wants to earn well and understands that the two generally go together.

Working environment

The role is 5 days a week in their London office , particularly important at the beginning of your career when you'll be learning directly from experienced recruiters and the owners.

A significant amount of the business is US-focused, so working hours are:

Monday–Thursday: 10am–6pm

Friday: 10am–5pm
