We're looking for ambitious people who want to build practical experience in marketing, customer acquisition and commercial development from the ground up.

At BasePoint, everyone starts by learning the fundamentals, working directly with customers, understanding how campaigns operate and developing the communication and commercial skills required to perform in a face-to-face environment.

From there, development can take different directions. Some people choose to specialise as Sales Executives, while others are interested in developing towards team leadership and taking on greater responsibility within the business.

The Role

You'll begin with hands-on training and experience across our face-to-face campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with customers in residential and event-based environments
• Representing established brands professionally
• Understanding customer needs and communicating relevant products and services
• Supporting the delivery of live customer acquisition campaigns
• Developing practical sales, communication and customer service skills
• Working towards individual and team performance objectives
• Participating in regular training and development

This is a field-based, customer-facing position rather than a desk-based or digital marketing role.

Your Development

The initial focus is on building a strong foundation in customer acquisition and campaign delivery.

As you develop, there are two broad areas in which you may choose to build your experience:

Sales & Performance:

Continue developing your customer engagement and commercial skills, with the opportunity to progress towards a Sales Executive position.

Team Leadership:

Develop additional skills in mentoring, coaching, team coordination and performance management, with the opportunity to work towards leadership responsibilities.

Development is based on individual performance, capability and the direction you want to pursue.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need previous marketing or sales experience. We're particularly interested in people who are:

• Confident and comfortable communicating with different people
• Motivated by personal development and measurable results
• Coachable and willing to learn from the ground up
• Professional, reliable and comfortable working as part of a team
• Interested in building practical commercial experience
• Available full-time and able to work on-site in London

Experience in retail, hospitality, events, sport, customer service or other people-focused environments can be beneficial, but isn't essential.
