Continuous Improvement Specialist (Graduate / Entry Level)

Summary:

A4G LLP is looking for a graduate or early-career individual with a curious mind and a genuine interest in how businesses work, to join our Process Improvement team. This is a continuous improvement role built around Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma DMAIC and operational excellence. You’ll start by learning how A4G’s systems and processes work, then build up to running your own DMAIC projects and picking up practical AI and automation tools along the way.

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 2:1 degree, or A-Levels, grades A–C in English, Business Studies, IT or Economics and GCSEs, grades 9–5, including English and Maths, or equivalent early-career experience, with a genuine willingness to learn.
• A naturally curious, analytical mind - you ask ‘why’ and ‘is there a better way to do this?’
• Confidence to question, investigate and learn from people across the business.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, especially when documenting processes.
• Good written and verbal communication, comfortable working at all levels of the business.
• A collaborative, proactive and commercially aware approach.
• Openness to feedback and to picking up new tools, including AI and automation, where they add value.

Desirable:

• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience of process mapping, documentation or workflow analysis.
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control background

What you’ll be doing:

• Create, maintain and standardise process documentation, procedures and process maps.
• Partner with teams across the business to spot and coordinate improvement opportunities.
• Apply structured, data-driven methods, including DMAIC, to find root causes and practical solutions.
• Identify where automation could reduce manual work and support its implementation.
• Track outcomes and measure the return on the improvements you help deliver.
• Promote continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing across the business.

Location: Wrotham Heath, Kent

Hours: Full time, 8:30am–5:00pm

Salary: £22,500 to £25,000 per annum

Reports to: Process Improvement Manager
