Senior CDP/Sous Chef WANTED – NEW RESTAURANT IN CROUCH END, NORTH LONDON

Salary: £30,100–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Position: Full/Part-time
Location: Crouch End, London N8 9DB

We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and experienced Sous Chef/Senior CDP to join our new restaurant in Crouch End.

It is a family run restaurant with 50 seats.

Our restaurant will focus on Modern Asian Tapas cuisine, serving quality food in a welcoming and enjoyable dining environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to take responsibility for the kitchen, bring their creativity to the menu and help establish the restaurant's reputation from the beginning.

The Role

As a Senior member of the kitchen you will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the kitchen team.
• Developing and preparing creative Asian dishes,
• Maintaining consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Assist the Head Chef and Kitchen Management.
• Managing suppliers and food ordering where necessary
• Ensuring excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Training, motivating and supporting junior kitchen staffs.
• Maintaining an organised, efficient and professional kitchen.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a senior kitchen position.
• A strong background in Modern Asian/British/European cuisine.
• Excellent cooking skills and a passion for quality ingredients.
• Moderate experience with menu planning, food costing and kitchen management.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a kitchen team.
• A positive attitude, creativity and a hands-on approach.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and kitchen safety.
