You’ll be responsible for running your section, making sure prep is done properly and that food is cooked and presented to the right standard throughout service. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the team to keep the kitchen organised and service running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s organised, reliable and happy to get stuck in when things get busy.

- Cooking and presenting dishes to the correct standard, maintaining consistency with every plate.
- Keeping on top of prep lists and making sure your section is organised.
- Working with the rest of the kitchen team to deliver a smooth service.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and allergen procedures.
- Ensuring food is stored correctly, with proper date labelling and stock rotation.
- Helping to check deliveries, monitor stock and minimise food waste.
- Completing temperature checks, cleaning schedules and other daily kitchen records.
- Supporting other members of the team and helping maintain standards across the kitchen.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally as a Chef de Partie / Junior Sous or a strong Commis Chef ready to progress.
- A good all-round chef who cares about the quality of the food they produce.
- Someone who can organise their section and work well under pressure.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and allergen procedures.
- Someone who takes pride in cleanliness, preparation and presentation.
- A reliable team player with a positive attitude who is happy to get involved wherever needed.
